Wednesday, September 9, 2026

For nearly 20 years, the Rhea Medical Healthcare Foundation has proudly hosted one of the largest fundraising tournaments in Rhea County. Last year’s tournament sold out by July, so we encourage teams to register early to secure a spot for your 4-man team.

Morning golfers will enjoy breakfast and lunch, along with exciting door prizes and plenty of fun throughout the day. Afternoon golfers are invited to join us for lunch prior to their tee time and will also have the chance to win great door prizes.

We look forward to another memorable and impactful tournament!

"Bringing Cancer Care Home" — 2024 Mission Accomplished!

A Day to Remember at Rhea Medical Center

April 24, 2025, A Day we Will Never Forget—our very first patient rang the bell, celebrating her victory over cancer. It was a powerful, emotional moment, filled with hope, strength, and joy.

What resonated most was something she shared: “RMC didn’t treat me like a number. I was treated like a person.” In a world where compassion can sometimes feel rare, those words meant everything. At Rhea Medical, patients aren’t just cases—they’re people. That’s what makes this place truly special.

We are absolutely overjoyed for this remarkable patient. Her strength and spirit inspire us all, and we’re honored to have walked this journey with her.

Here’s to more victories, more bells rung, and more lives changed!

Surrounded by cheering staff, friends, and loved ones, Ms. Mary made her way through the crowd with strength and grace, ringing the bell with a smile that lit up the entire room. This moment wasn’t just a celebration of her triumph, but a symbol of hope for every patient walking a similar path.

Ms. Mary, your strength inspires us all. Here’s to new adventures, new memories, and a life full of joy beyond cancer.

Tony Hollin, CEO of Ed Financial Services, Donates $25,000 !

THANK YOU!

This incredible donation, made in honor of Tony's father, Bill Hollin, has helped us achieve our goal of fully funding the construction of the Containment Segregated Compounding Area—a specialized room with a hood for compounding chemotherapy at Rhea Medical Center.

We are deeply grateful for their support and for being a part of our mission in 2024, “Bringing Cancer Treatment Home”.

2023 Event Proceeds go Toward the Purchase of an EEG - Electroencephalogram Machine

Event proceeds will go towards the purchase of an electroencephalogram (EEG) machine to support Rhea Medical's up-coming tele-neurology program. This machine will be utilized to assist the neurologists in the diagnosis and management of various neurological disorders including strokes, seizures, traumatic injury, drug intoxication, and anoxic brain injury. Because of this soon to be implemented tele-neurology program, many of these patients will be able to be treated locally without having to be transferred to another facility.
